Menard Double Cleansing Skin Workshop

Hello ladies,

I'm back with Menard after their workshop in Central Park last week. The event is about double cleansing and how important it is to do so. Especially for ladies, we like to use makeup, sun protection and other kind of products that might contain residue or chemicals we need to get rid off after finish using them .

Did you know that sun protection is good only when it last? So after the sun is out, we need to remove it immediately as they do contain ingredients that wont give the skin any benefit, some even clogged the pores, make the skin dehydrated, and other unwanted result. Same goes with makeup. At first makeup is created not just for decorative purpose but to give the skin another layer, to protect the skin from environmental damages. But some forgot to clean them properly once they are home and doesn't need them anymore.

Menard reminds us the benefit of thoroughly clean the skin, so the pores can breath again and rejuvenate as well as refreshed.

Inside the workshop Tsukika, Beauness, and makeup collection as well.

They look pretty standing in lines for us.

This is me before the workshop begun, I came with a full makeup on to test on the cleanliness it can give (although I'm already trying their products before through the travel sizes given months ago: http://whileyouonearth.blogspot.com/2014/01/menard-tsukika-travel-set-and-beauness.html)

Before getting our hands on the products, all of us has to do skin check where they'll provide some tools to determine the hydration, firmness, pigmentation, and what does the skin's need. It was not that different from most of the skin diagnostic tool I've tried, but here, they added some tips to improve the skin condition.

-*-

The 5 minutes skin check is done, there are questionnaire to fill and tools to be pressed against the skin. My result is as below, my skin is 1,5 year younger than my actual age. To improve this condition I need to massage my skin everyday.

After the check, I'm ready for the products, let's start with cleaning the skin.

-*-

Lip and eye makeup remover, continued with a Cleansing Cream that need to be massaged until it is clear like oil. Then use a damped sponge to clean it. Continued with a Washing Cream with foam net that gives an abundant perfectly build foam (the one that wont drop even if I turn it upside down on the palm), the dense foam is small enough to reach the pores and gently clean the skin without striping it off the moisture. The result is a nicely clean skin, well, perfectly cleaned skin from all the debris of makeup, residue, sun protections, and sebum.

All the bloggers at the workshop are agree about how fresh it feels after double cleansing. Have you tried double cleansing before?

Start with a Cleansing Cream/ Milk, clean it all off, and continues with a facial foam that foamed up like Washing Cream from Menard. This two actions is called double cleansing.

-*-

Continues with skincare, toner and lotion, but that day there's no moisturizer nor serum provided.

-*-

Below is me after the toner and lotion, and goes directly to makeup.

The makeup collection also from Tsukika range, I'm using the moist makeup base and liquid foundation.

The product feels light and comfortable on the skin.

Continued with a compact powder also from Tsukika.

What do you think of my after look? The skin looks refreshed right? Please do start double cleansing your skin daily to give them a proper basic before continues in using the skincare, a perfectly clean skin also able to absorb the nutrients better from the skincare.
